June14 - Art and Collectables Sale - Hosted by Ormond Beach Historical Society. Rare and beautiful pieces of art, jewelry, and other collectibles will be available for sale beginning at 9 a.m. Items in the sale will be featured online at DianaFineArts.com. At 9 a.m., Diana Minotti, will give a presentation entitled “Avoiding the Pitfalls of Liquidating an Estate” followed by a Q&A period. The public is invited to bring any of their treasures to get an expert’s opinion of their value. Registration is between 9 and 11 a.m. Local, acknowledged experts will offer a verbal opinion of their value at a nominal cost of $10 per item or $25 for three items. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Anderson-Price Memorial Building, 42 N. 14 - Celebrate Flag Day at the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse - Explore historical exhibits and climb the largest lighthouse in Florida. Learn about Semaphore history and about Semaphore flag communications and make your own lighthouse pennant. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. $5 for Adults, $1.50 Age 2-11, Under 2 Free. 4931 S. Peninsula Drive, Ponce Inlet. More information: 386-761-1821. 21 - Historical Bus Tour of Ormond Beach - Presented by the Ormond Beach Historical Society. This two hour tour includes the Ormond Scenic Loop, Fairchild Oak, Three Chimneys Sugar Mill Ruins, Ormond Indian Burial Mound and historic homes along the way. A knowledgeable tour guide will interpret the 30 sites on the route. Tickets are $20 for adults, $7 for ages 7 - 12, and can be purchased at the OBHS Welcome Center 38 East Granada Blvd. or by phone using Visa or Master Card.
