MDPL needs your support more than ever.
Some of our on-going programs that need your support:
- We have been working hard to protect our cherished historic districts and single family homes and will continue that fight.
- We are in the process of developing an exciting new museum in the Art Deco Welcome Center that will be free and open to the public.
- We have scheduled powerful programs for the Miami Beach Centennial Celebration starting the the Fall of 2014 that will run through the end of 2015.
- We are working on completing the resurvey of the Art Deco Historic District over the summer. We currently have an online data base of over 800 buildings and we add more every day. Once the historic district is complete, we plan to continue to survey the rest of Miami Beach. You can check out what we have already accomplished here: www.ruskinarc.com/mdpl

The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce "Better Beach Award for Activism" Goes To MDPL
The Miami Design Preservation was honored by the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce and City National Bank at the Better Beach Awards last week.
The "Better Award for Activism" was given to MDPL in recognition for our efforts in preserving Miami Beach's special architectural and historic character.
